A financial advisor devoted to your retirement strategy

You don’t have to wish for a great retirement; you can prepare for it. A “great” retirement looks different for everyone, but planning your financial future is a key step in allowing you to define it. Insight Wealth LLC works as a fiduciary while helping people map out their financial futures. We see ways for you to live intentionally and abundantly, and we want to help you achieve that.

Have you ever wished your spouse were more involved with or more confident about your long-term financial plan?

Every family has a CFO, whether that person has explicitly accepted that role or not. (Somebody has to do it, right?) Maybe that’s you and you’re carrying the load of your family’s long-term financial plans. You don’t have to go at it alone! At Insight Wealth, we love to work with couples and bring both voices into the conversation.

Have you ever wished your spouse were more involved with or more confident about your long-term financial plan? When you and your spouse are on the same page financially, you can make wise decisions about your family’s future — and you can alleviate fear around it.

By the way, if you’re single, we want to be there for you too. Whether you’re navigating it all on your own or trying to change course after losing a loved one, Insight Wealth is here to help you understand the process and to simplify decisions associated with retirement.

“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.”

Proverbs 4:7

Meet our team

Samantha Compton

President & Senior Financial Advisor

Samantha Compton is the founder of Insight Wealth, an Eversource Wealth Advisors Team, built to help clients who want their financial lives to support something meaningful — not just someday, but in every season.

Her work is grounded in a simple belief: money works best when it serves the life you’re living — your relationships, your values, and the purpose you still have to offer the world. That perspective shapes everything she does, from the way she helps clients think about their financial plans to the way she supports them through moments of change.

Samantha didn’t come to this work because she loved numbers. She came to it because a major life transition forced her to ask deeper questions about her own future — and what it really means to feel grounded, informed, and ready to move forward. That experience still shapes how she shows up for others, especially when financial decisions feel overwhelming or emotionally charged.

Since beginning her financial career in 2012, Samantha has worked with individuals and couples navigating retirement, loss, divorce, and other pivotal life shifts. She is particularly drawn to serving women who suddenly find themselves responsible for financial decisions they never expected to be making — and couples who want clarity, not just complexity.

Samantha is licensed as an Investment Advisor Representative and maintains both Missouri and Kansas insurance licenses. She places high value on financial education and was honored to serve as the 2021 resident financial advisor for Smart Women Smart Money magazine.

Samantha lives in the Lee’s Summit, Missouri area with her husband and three children.
