Build greater clarity and confidence around your finances for retirement

Most people don’t come into financial meetings with documents and spreadsheets neatly organized. They come in with questions, moving pieces and a desire for greater financial clarity. This is a great place for us to start!

Our goal at Insight Wealth is to help you gain a clearer view of your financial picture so we can develop a plan aligned with your vision for retirement.

Not sure how you want retirement to look? That’s okay! By working to bring more clarity and intention to your finances, we aim to reduce complexity and create space for you to think about your life in retirement.

As clarity increases, confidence can grow. And as the noise begins to fade, the next season of life can start to come into focus — not just financially, but more fully.

Our Process

The Clarity Journey

The Clarity Journey is designed to help bring important elements of your financial life into view, so you can begin making more informed decisions with a greater sense of confidence.

And because we believe financial clarity is only the beginning, woven throughout this journey is something we call Purpose Planning, where we help you gain clarity not just on your financial picture but on what you’re building it for.

PURPOSE Acronym
Before the Journey Begins
1Prepare

Schedule a First Step Conversation to understand your situation at a high level and determine whether it makes sense to take the next step together.

The Clarity Journey
2Uncover

Our next step is to meet and dig into the details a bit more. Before we do, we’ll gather additional information to make the most of our time together. At this meeting, we’ll discuss when you’d like to retire, what you’ll need to consider, what you want to fund — and the larger why behind all of it.

3Reveal

After spending time with your full financial picture, we’ll meet again to walk through all 7 Areas of Planning — sharing a high-level view of our initial thoughts and what it could look like to work together as you plan for the life you envision for retirement.

At the end of that meeting, if we both feel it’s a good fit, we can make it official and begin the planning process together.

4Plan the Path

This is where the planning process deepens. Building on the initial observations from our Reveal meeting, we work with you to develop a thoughtful approach to retirement income, tax-aware planning, and long-term decision-making — designed to help align your resources with your goals and priorities.

Your plan is organized using our “three bucket approach,” where each bucket is connected to aspects of your life that matter most to you.

5Orchestrate

We can now begin implementing the plan we’ve developed together. We work to align accounts, investments, and structures to support your strategy. This is where planning starts to become action.

6Step Forward + Explore

We provide ongoing guidance as life evolves — working with you to align your resources with your financial priorities and overall well-being. As your financial plan becomes more established, purpose naturally becomes part of the ongoing conversation.

Take Your First Step

I feel like I would not be retired right now if it weren’t for Samantha. I thought we would never have ‘enough,’ but Samantha reassured me time and time again that we were on track. She always took time to listen carefully to what we said. She is the best at what she does. We are extremely grateful and excited about a wonderful retirement ahead of us!

Over the course of our retirement planning journey, Samantha has been an exceptional partner. Her patience and ability to communicate complex financial strategies in an understandable way are truly remarkable. Her professionalism, deep knowledge, and genuine commitment to our financial well-being have made a significant difference in our peace of mind. We cannot thank her enough and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and caring financial advisor.

Dan B.*

Samantha takes a genuine interest in her clients and builds a financial strategy to accommodate their needs. I never wonder about the recommendations she makes. She’s studied, knowledgeable and always client-oriented.

Pam F.*

I’ve enjoyed working with Samantha from the initial meeting. One of the main reasons I moved money to Insight Wealth was for the benefit of my wife if something should happen to me. I know and trust Samantha will do the right thing and guide my wife through the financial maze.

7 key areas of your financial plan

Our framework focuses on seven areas of financial planning — but not all at once. The first three areas (labeled 1–3 below) lay the foundation for our initial planning. They incorporate our “three bucket approach,” designed to help organize retirement income planning and establish a strategy for long-term growth. The next four areas (labeled 4–7) become the focus as your plan develops.

The seventh area, purpose planning, is positioned centrally, as it integrates the other six areas and supports ongoing conversations about how you want to use your resources in ways that are meaningful to you.

Insight Wealth
1
LIQUIDITY PLANNING. We’ll review your cash and short-term resources to help ensure you have access to funds for near-term needs, including emergencies and upcoming expenses.
2
INCOME PLANNING. We’ll work with you to develop a strategy for generating income in retirement, helping you plan for covering monthly expenses over time.
3
GROWTH PLANNING. With your income plan established, we’ll develop an investment strategy for assets not needed for current income, aligned with your long-term goals.
4
TAX-AWARE PLANNING. Everyone’s favorite category, right? We incorporate tax considerations into your financial plan to support more informed decision-making.
5
INSURANCE PLANNING. We’ll review your existing coverage and, if needed, explore strategies to help manage key financial risks as part of your overall plan.
6
LEGACY PLANNING. We’ll coordinate your financial plan with your estate documents and legacy intentions.
7
PURPOSE PLANNING. With your financial plan in place, our ongoing conversations naturally shift from preparing for retirement to reflecting on the life you’re actually living — and how your plan can continue to support it.
Frequently Asked Questions

You may have a few questions. That’s exactly where we like to start.

We’ve answered some of the most common ones below.

If you’ve spent years preparing for retirement and are beginning to wonder whether what you’ve built is enough — or how it all fits together — it may be a good time to talk with an advisor. You don’t need to have everything organized first. Many people begin the process feeling exactly that way.

We typically work with households who have at least $500,000 in investable assets — not because we measure people by their balance sheet, but because this is often where retirement planning starts to become more nuanced, and where our experience can be most valuable. If you aren’t there yet, we’re still happy to point you in a helpful direction.

We work with a focused group of clients, allowing relationships to remain personal and ongoing. Financial clarity matters, but it is only part of the picture. Woven into everything we do is a conversation about purpose — not just what you’re planning for, but what you’re building it for.

It’s simply a conversation. We’ll take time to understand your situation at a high level, answer your questions, and explore whether working together may be a good fit. There is no obligation, and our goal is to make the conversation clear and comfortable.

Not at all! Many people reach out feeling like their financial life is scattered or difficult to see clearly. Bringing clarity and organization to complexity is work we genuinely enjoy. Come as you are.

It can — and we’d gently encourage it. Many couples seek out Insight Wealth because they want both spouses to feel informed and confident, especially when one person has historically handled most of the finances. We work hard to create clear, comfortable conversations where each person understands the plan, feels heard, and knows what to do if life ever changes unexpectedly.

We’ll clearly explain how we work, what services are included, and how we’re compensated during your first conversation. We want you to feel informed and comfortable before making any next decisions.

For women navigating loss or divorce

With patience, clarity, and no rush. Samantha’s personal experiences with grief and divorce have deepened the empathy and perspective she brings to women walking through similar transitions. We understand that major life changes rarely follow a neat timeline. What we strive to provide is a steady, grounded presence — someone who explains things clearly, never makes you feel uninformed, and gives you space to make thoughtful decisions. You don’t need to come in with all the answers. We’ll work through the questions together.

Already working with an advisor?

That’s more common than you might think — and often worth exploring. An introductory conversation with us is complimentary and comes with no obligation. Sometimes people are simply looking for a second perspective. Other times, life has changed and they want guidance that feels better aligned with this next season. Either way, we’re happy to have an honest conversation and help you evaluate what feels right for you.

Still have questions? We’d be glad to answer them.
